Standard 1–4 · Ages 7–10

A co-curricular hour with real content

A year-long creative programme for Standard 1 to Standard 4, delivered in your classroom once a week. No syllabus for your teachers to write, no weekly project for them to invent, and nothing to buy.

Why primary schools run Pikiko

Older children need more than an activity. They need something that gets harder.

📚

It reinforces what you already teach

Weekly subjects cover science, nature, geography, cultures and community. Children build the thing they have just learned about.

📈

Projects grow through the year

By Standard 3 and 4 children are planning, proportioning and making their own design decisions — not repeating a craft.

📵

A screen-free hour

Sustained hands-on concentration, in a week where very little else asks that of them.

The two primary levels

Standard 1–2Skill developers, ages 7–8. Detailed sculpting, proportion, planning ahead and more complex three-dimensional construction.
Standard 3–4Creative leaders, ages 9–10. Complex multi-part pieces, advanced detailing, design decisions and personal style.

Where it fits in your timetable

  • A co-curricular or enrichment period
  • A club or activity slot
  • An after-school programme
  • A full class of up to 30, so no splitting or rotating

What Pikiko provides

  • A trained instructor who comes to your school
  • A structured year-long curriculum
  • A fully prepared lesson plan for every single week
  • All creative materials
  • Lessons adapted by age group
  • A format designed for full classes
  • A new creation every week, taken home by every child
  • A non-figurative project option on request

What your school provides

  • A classroom or activity space with tables and seating
  • A weekly time slot and access arrangements
  • A display or projector for the instructor if you have one — if not, we bring our own

That is the whole list. Our instructor runs the full class, so your teachers do not need to prepare, deliver or supervise anything — though they are welcome in the room at any time.

Exact responsibilities are set out in the programme agreement.

Where we operate

Pikiko operates throughout Malaysia. We are not limited to one state or region — we place instructors wherever schools need them.

Tell us where your school is and we will confirm instructor availability and scheduling for your area before anything is booked.

A simple, fixed fee

We charge a fixed fee per class, per week — not per child.

The fee is the same whether twelve children attend or thirty, and the same for a group of four-year-olds as for a class of ten-year-olds. One rate, one invoice, nothing to recalculate each term.

  • You pay Pikiko one fixed weekly fee for the class
  • You set what parents pay
  • You keep the difference

Because our fee does not move as the class fills, every additional child enrolled improves your margin. The programme is designed to run as a revenue line for your school, not a cost.

You receive the exact fee in writing before you commit to anything. The demo class is free.
