Accessibility statement
We want every parent, teacher and school administrator to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or need larger text and higher contrast.
Last updated: 30 September 2026
1. The standard we work to
This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the international standard also published as ISO/IEC 40500. A site that meets WCAG 2.2 also meets the earlier 2.1 and 2.0 versions.
Malaysia does not currently have a general web accessibility law for private businesses. We follow this standard voluntarily, in the spirit of Section 30 of the Persons with Disabilities Act 2008, which recognises the right of persons with disabilities to access information, communication and technology on an equal basis with others.
2. What we have done
- Semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks and page structure
- Every function reachable and operable by keyboard alone
- A visible focus indicator that is never hidden behind a sticky header or bar
- A “skip to main content” link at the top of every page
- Colour contrast checked against the WCAG AA thresholds
- Information never conveyed by colour alone
- Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 320-pixel screen width
- Touch targets of at least 24 by 24 pixels, and in most cases considerably larger
- Permanent visible labels on every form field, never placeholder text alone
- Clear, specific error messages on the enquiry form
- Meaningful alternative text on every image
- Descriptive link text, never “click here” or “read more”
- Animation reduced automatically for visitors who set a reduced-motion preference
- Support for both light and dark system display settings
- Accessible accordions and menus that announce their state to assistive technology
3. Known limitations
We would rather tell you what is not finished than claim the site is perfect.
- The site is currently available in English only. Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin versions are planned.
- We have not yet published video. When we do, every video will carry captions and a transcript.
- The site has been tested by its developers but has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist or tested with a wide range of assistive technologies.
4. If something does not work for you
Please tell us. A specific report is genuinely useful — tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened.
Email: support@pikiko.com.my
Telephone: 012-989 0582
We aim to respond within two working days, and to fix accessibility problems as a priority.
5. Other ways to reach us
If any part of this website is difficult for you to use, you do not have to use it. Call or WhatsApp us and we will answer your questions, send you the information by email in whatever format suits you, and arrange a demo class directly.
6. Keeping this up to date
We review accessibility whenever we make a significant change to the site, and we intend to arrange an independent audit as the business grows.
