Children learn differently when their hands are involved
Young children explore by touching, building, shaping, questioning and experimenting. Pikiko uses that natural curiosity to connect making with discovering.
The instructor shows them how. The lesson shows them what and why. Their own imagination decides what else it could become.
Structure builds confidence. Freedom builds creativity.
Children need both, so every session has both. The guided part gives every child a result to be proud of, including the ones who find it harder. The free part makes that result theirs.
A classroom of thirty children works on the same project and no two finish the same.
